President’s Welcome Message

Greetings,

On behalf of the officers and members of the Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., thank you for visiting our website.  We appreciate your visit and are excited to share our chapter’s programs, projects, and initiatives.

In 1937, the Beta Eta Chapter was the first Black Greek-lettered Sorority to be chartered on Alabama State University's campus and has been serving our campus and community for 85 years. We consistently work to uphold the vision of our devastating 22 Founders of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and our 15 dynamic charter members of the Beta Eta Chapter.  We are proud of the previous accomplishments and are excited to continue to build upon those accomplishments.

As a group of college educated black women, we strive to stand out amongst our peers as leaders. We aim to uplift our community by serving them in the ways that suit them best while also being conscious of our sorority’s five programmatic thrusts. I encourage you to stay connected with us by following us on our social media sites for real time updates and information.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you.

In Service and Sisterhood,

Aarin Carver
